Default help with oil cap in back of crank

Do anyone know if the freeze plug or cap in the crank has an edge so it won't go in to far or will it go right out the other side into the motor. How deep should it be in the crank past the pilot bearing

There isn't a stop for the plug, so it can go into your crank(I did it, it sucks). I don't remember how far beyond the pilot bearing I put mine. Use locktite or some type of sealer on it when you put it in.
