I got a poly trans mount from Autozone... I had to ask for 97 Trans Am because they didnt have nything for 99... anyways. It shakes more and sound is transmitted through the mount so it COULD be annoying to certain people I guess hehe.

I got the energy mount from autozone as well. I read on here about not using the preload plate and sanding off the bumps and do it cause it works. Alot of people run the prothane one but the autozone one is the cheapest and easist to get your hands on. I would highly recommend doing poly motor mounts that way you are all poly and dont have to be concerned about cracking the bell housing. Once I did the poly motor mounts all my noise went away that i got from just doing the trans mount

I had a Energy suspension, didn't like the vibration. However I didn't sand bumps and installed with preload spacer. Went back with stock. PM me if you want to buy my ES poly mount, on the car about a week.

I tried without the bracket and it was a little on the "noisy side". I ground down the bumps and it's almost like it was stock, except for the improvement on the shifter feel. Haven't had a missed 3-4 shift yet since installing. Once in awhile I'd hit the gate wrecking a 3-4 shift on a spirited run...

get the prothane mount and call it a day, no bumps to cut off like the engery one just bolt in a go, and i also did not notice any more vibration than stock, you can get the prothane one summit or jegs i forgot.. hope this helps ya.
