Whats different about the ls1 and the ls1 t56? Will a ls1 t56 and the ls1 bellhousing mount to a SBC? And will BW, tremec, and richmond t56 internals swap??? thanks

Yes and no. The bellhousing is different and can be bought from Mcleod to fit the ls1 t56.

there are specific T56bells for the LS1 and LT1 models but more generic after market bells can adapt them for non-original use. The internals of T56 units ( BW and Tremec ) interchange somewhat, depending on the model. As far as I know there are no T56 parts that interchange with the Richmond.

What spline are you talking about?
Both have a 26T input and 27T output spline.( sounds like you should count at least a 3rd time)
