Default Odd 1st gear noise.

So it starts snowing today ick!
Anyhow that means Im driving extra careful. I went to go from a light and I noticed a slight grinding sound. It KIND OF sounded like a much quieter version of when the rear end goes out only it came from the tranny (moreso where the clutch is located).
I just had the LS7/LS2 combo installed 250 miles ago and I have been taking it easy on it. Any ideas? Only happens in 1st gear but I have NO trouble getting it in or out of gear at all.

My car did that once and when I pulled the clutch out the pilot bearing was all smashed up. It didnt have any of those little like ridges in it. It was smooth. maybe thats it :dunno:
