I'm gettting close to 100k and I'm tired of fighting to get into 2nd and 3rd sometimes. How much does it usually run to get a 6 speed fixed?

I had my 2000 Camaro SS poping out of reverse & 3rd gear fixed at Jimmy Johnson Chevrolet San Diego, Ca Nov 28, 2005 total was $1,589.74 GMPP payed every penny Zero deductible. Parts $1,025.37 labor $564.37

I payed $600 for my transmission rebuild which included a new steel 3-4 fork, carbon kevlar synchros, new rings, and some other things i cant remember off the top of my head.. I know you all probably won't believe me, but i watched him do it.

talk to joe or amber at t56 rebuilds. probably the cheepest prices on the internet for parts. I replaced all my synchros, 3-4 fork, new blocker rings. did it myself, this job is very doable for someone who is mechanicly enclined. I downloaded step by step instructions on how to do it off ebay for 4 dollars, and i went to town on it. saved myself over 1000 dollars in parts markup and labor. it really is not that difficult
