Default 500 hp and two blown clutches

i need a clutch to just hold 500 hp in less than 15 passes i have killed a mccleod street twin and a carolina stage 3 clutch
i need to know what kind of clutch will hold my car this is starting to be expensive

whos installing them.....and do u no ho to drive? my friends has the twin disk in hi 700rwho ta and no problems

Are you slipping the clutch at launch when at the track? The McLeod won't last very long if you're slipping the clutch, it generates too much heat.

I think they say that you can slip a textralia out of the hole and it'll take it.

yes i know how to drive and no im not slipping it at all,MORE PERFORMANCE installed the carolina stage 3 and TEA installed the mccleod street twin,just popping it at 4000rpm and went 5 passes 1/8 mile track waiting 30 mins between runs ,and while burning out killed it dead

I know what you mean, I am on my 6th clutch in 38K miles. I just installed a spec clutch this week hope this one works.

SPEC stage 5 will last. Also if you burn a clutch on a burnout it means you need more water on your tires and pop the clutch,don't ride it
