Default Jammed in forth gear

So I was out tonight. I was coming up to a red light I usually down shift but this time I did not. I was in forth gear put the clutch to the floor and stoped my SS. tryed to put the shifter into neutral but It wouldn't go in. As I was trying all I could smell was burning Clutch and then the pedal would not go to the floor easily. So what I did was mashed the throttle and hoped that my car wouldn't stall, I didn't so I got going down the road up to speed and down shifted it to 3 and up shifted to 5 with no trouble at all. Drove around for about 1 hour with out that problem again. Still the smell of clutch was strong!! My only mods to the trans are a B&M Ripper and Mobil One Syn fluid! and car has about 40k and stock Clutch.

you broke a slider key in the tranny. it will get stuck in gear again and if your lucky you will be able to get it out. I broke a slider key with less than 2,000 miles on the car. When you have it fixed order a set of billet slider keys from G-Force trans. so it won't happen again
