Default Releasing pressure on slave for install??

I heard that releasing pressure on the slave will help the trans slip in easier. My question was this. Do you just open the valve on the slave and leave it until you get trans on and then close it up? Wont the fluid keep coming out??

thanks

disconnect the stainless steel line from the master cylinder, then crack open the slave bleeder

put the trans back, close the bleeder, connect the master cylinder line

I've never had to do that and can't really see it helping. The rubber seal in the slave cylinder should already be pushed back all the way so opening the bleeder won't matter. Has anyone seen different?

Well I pressed the slave in before and after I opened the bleeder. Same pressure and I still had a problem putting in the trans. Finally I just did like some guys mentioned and put all the screws in and pulled her in. I think one of the dowels was a lil off. I started her up and sounds fine. I'll drop her and run it tomorrow.
