Clutch slipping problem at only 8400 miles!! My 01 WS6 has only 8400 miles and I noticed that the clutch is slipping when I get on it. I thought that the 01's got a better clutch. The max I ever shift is at 5500 rpm and usually around 5000. And I don't powershift. Will gm replace the clutch since it's got so few miles? Are there any TSB's about this problem? Also I just started noticing that when the car is stopped sometimes that it is hard to get it in gear. Could this be related to my clutch problems?

Re: Clutch slipping problem at only 8400 miles!! What makes you think it's slipping? Does it slip on the shifts? Or when you're just accelerating?
The 01+ clutch's "should" last longer, but I wouldn't expect to much out of them. Some people get them to last a long time, others die in 5000 miles.

Re: Clutch slipping problem at only 8400 miles!! The last couple times I ran it, it felt like the clutch was slipping. The car doesn't seem as responsive either. The engine revs the same but it doesn't have the same pull.
