Default aftermarket bellhousing?

MCCloud or other brand scater shield(bellhousing) I have been checking it out however it looks like you need a differant trans for it or it going to work on an LS1 with factory t-56? The one I was looking at appears to be for a differant trans with a clutch fork and not the hydo setup that is there now? anyone running an aftermarket bellhousing for safty?

Mc Cleod has generec parts that adapt to all the current T56 applications. Yes it will work with your T56.

i have the mcloed. other than having to grind a section on the back of the block and maybe opening a few bolt holes a little bit, it was a direct fit. the grinding isn't as bad as it sounds, and there is a write up or 2 on here. it is an sfi part, but it is about 30 pounds heavier.
