Default my clutch has issues..

first of all, bare with me.. this is kinda wordy..

i've noticed that my clutch hasn't been disengaging as easy as normal as of late... when i release the clutch pedal and pull it back a bit, with my foot, then it would seem to disengage alot better... well, yesterday i pushed the clutch in and something popped. when i got home i pulled out on the clutch pedal, with my hand, and it popped real loud and a spring fell out... i pulled the panal off and saw that one of the clutch pedal brackets, going to the firewall, had broke into.. well, i can weld that back, hopefully, but i'm in need of a diagram or something so i can purchase a new spring, that isn't broke, and put it back in place.. can anyone help out and put me in the right direction... thnx anthony

Most people just throw out and forget the spring. If I remember its just there to keep rattling noise down when not pressed.

Your slave is going! Replace your slave and your problems will go away.

Put the spacer in and see what happens.

Default firewall breakage.

new probs... found out that my firewall is cracked all to hell and that caused the clutch pedal bracket to break and it put my clutch master in a bind.. now i have to figure out how to brace and mount my new clutch master and then weld the clutch pedal brace back together.. has anyone else ever been through this???
