Default having a t-56 problem

i just got my t-56 back from a performance trans shop. and i had a new 3-4 synchro assembl. put in and a steel fork. i got it back in my car and now if i shift from 1st to second below 3,000 rpm in grinds a little and pops out. it consistantly does this and i have been easy on the car to let everything wear in. what are some possibilities of problems? (it didnt do it before and i am going there tomorrow to have it looked at)

What kind of shifter is in the car? Is it possible that they didnt adjust the stops on it and its not sliding all the way into gear?

I had this happen to me with my pro 5.0. Backed the bolts off and havent had any problems since.

Hopefully its something simple for you since you just had the tranny rebuilt.
