How long did your SPEC 3 last?
I have a spec 3 for about 20,000 miles.... all street and no track useage and now the engagement point is moving up. Is this because the clutch is wearing out? 6th gear full throttle doesn't show any slippage but is the clutch about to be done or something is up with my clutch m/c or slave cylinder?
Thanks!
Thanks!

My spec 3 lasted 18000 miles and over 50 passes at the track. It took just about a year of abuse. Going with a Ram twin disk now to hold the power hopefully for more than a year.

My clutch was fairly good... slight chattering at take off but other than that it's fine. Like I said I don't use the car at track and it's all street miles. Maybe the stop and go traffic kills the wear on these clutch or it just has thinner pads? but the clutch pedal is at the top 10% for the engagement point. I heard that stock clutch if it holds for normal use can last upward of 50-60k miles so i'm just wonder why a stage 3 lasts so short?
PS: I changed my stock clutch at 25k because I burned it up at takeoff going onto the I-10

On previous car????? I'd say roughly 10k (swapped trannys)
On my car for about 8k with as much **** I can throw at it. Holding up great. Will stay with a SPEC clutch when this one goes out.
