I'm new with the t56 and had a question about bearings. What bearnings are in the transmission? Should I replace them when I rebuild it? Where can I buy them? Sorry for the newb question, but I have to start learning somewhere. Thanks. Any additional information would be great as well.

It has tappered roller bearings like most everything. Depends upon milage & inspection of the parts if they need to be replaced IMO.

I has caged roller bearings as well and depends on mileage and inspecation like wrencher said. The more miles the more likely to replace.
