Default My Nearly New Pro 5.0 Not Returning to Center

Hey Guys,

I have a nearly new Pro 5.0 shifter thats not returning to center. If I drop it out of 2nd gear it'll sit in between the gates of 1 and 2. If I hit it it'll go to center, or if I come out of 3, 4, 5, 6, or R it'll go to the proper center.

Back in December of 2005 is when I got this for Christmas; I had my parents order it from Texas Speed and Performance.

After I installed it, it went into winter storage/project mode, i.e. wasn't driven for about 2.5 months. The shifter has approximately 2000 miles on it. Zach at TSP said I have to go through Pro 5.0 and I have no idea how to get ahold of them, or why TSP can't take it back and replace it, OR if there is something I can do to fix it.

Any suggestions?

I had one a few years ago that did the same thing. I searched around and found most of them did that. I dont think it affected the 2-3 shift though.

Yea you can install thicker springs in the shifter. Mine does it as well.

I got one with my new swap kit, not sure how many miles are on the shifter but hopefully this won't happen. If so I might sell it and buy a different one. Maybe i'll like the new one better anyways.
