Default your thoughts on spec stage 1 clutch

considering buying one used off a member here.
what are your thoughts on this clutch?
i plan on going into the 12's and this is my daily driver.
so any feedback (pros/cons) are appreciated

dont buy a used clutch. bad idea. would you buy used break pads? its a part that wears over time. you can get a new spec 1 for less than 500 i think. and and install will cost you like 300 anyways, wouldnt you hate to pay that twice. just do it once and do it right.

I dont know if you want to know how I feel about spec. Search my name and spec and you'll see. Didnt mean to hijack your thread, just do your research before committing to a product.

im in the same boat as SCRMNws6, i'de never go with a spec product period.

I have a Stage 1. I actually bought it for like $270 bucks brand new. It's cheap and that's about it. The clutch has maybe 2,700 miles and its slipping. BUT, in defense of Spec, they have been some HARD driven 2,700 miles. It was some life on it but Im just going to swap it out before it just takes a dump on me.

i actually found out its brand new and being sold at about half price, but i drive hard and dunno if this is the clutch for me then...
the z06 clutch has lasted me 41XXX miles and is just now slipping but to be fair, i acquired the car when it had 25XXX miles
