car in neutral=rising rpms?

car in neutral=rising rpms? i have a problem in my 01 camaro ss m6 but its a off and on thing...the rpms sometimes take a long time to drop when in nuetral and rolling..sumtimes they dont drop but rise instead?

My car does something very similar. It does it when the A/C is on. The engaged compressor makes the motor want to rev higher to stay running. Is your A/c on when this happens?
