Default Best Short Throw Handle.

Hey guys, quick question for all of you:

With the Pro 5.0 Shifter which short handle reduces the throws more:

A. Lou's Short Stick or B. The Short Stick sold at the ws6store.com

Your input is appreciated, as I am trying to make a decision in purchasing one or the other.

PS Money is not an issue I just want the setup that will give me the shortest throws.

They are all similar.

I love my UMI. It was awesome when I got it and I even cut another inch off mine. I like it but a friend of mine says it is too hardcore for him

Hey ninetres you were able to cutoff the inch or so from your UMI because like half the handle is threaded, right?
I am thinking I would not be able to cut off anything if I got the Lou's stick since there is just enough threading on there to get the **** on.

As Jimmard said, there is a TON of thread on the UMI. I cut exactly 1" off and it is short as a motha.

Allstar, I bought mine on ebay and it had a good picture of how much thread the stick has, so just do a search and check it out for yourself.

I had a LSS style shifter and I had to shim it out about 1" with an aluminum block to keep it on the correct side, and so it wouldnt hit the console. I would suggest the UMI since its already kicked at an angle.

Personally, I can't see how you guys can drive the car with the shifter angled like that. I guess you just get use to it, but I like how mine is perfectly straight.

Going from the stock hurst to this angled one, the UMI felt like it was in a much better position, I had to get used to it for a little while, but after getting used to it, I absolutely love it. Reverse isnt a pita to get anymore either. Do you have any pictures of yours for comparison reasons?

UMI all the way! Once you have driven one with an angle to it for just an hour you'll never go back!
