Default Shipping Help

Hey guys, I am going to be shipping my T56. I know the weight and all that, but for those of you who have shipped a tranny before, did you put it on a crate or whatever, or did whoever delivered it for you package it up??

you can crate it and pad it just for safety or secure it onto an open pallet and wrap it with some padding

Does it HAVE to be padded? I don't really think that would do much anyways

I should be put in a 45 gallon rubbermade container. Make sure you put cardboard on the front of the input shaft and cardboard around it so it does not move. With packaging and everything they weight 143lbs.

Thanks,
Amber

Walmart, Home Depot or Lowes are the best places.

Is it like the rubbermaid trash cans? Do you usually tape the lid on or something? Do you just send it, or do you put it on a pallet too? Sorry for all the questions

No it is long not tall. Just tape the lid and leave it at that. No crate is needed.

Thanks,
Amber
