Question Wierd 3rd Gear Problem???

Hey guys, I have a 2000 WS6 w/ a 6-speed T-56 and it has a Pro 5.0 short throw on there. My question is every time for a little while now I have to hold the shifter pretty firm when I put it into 3rd gear or else it will pop out back into Neutral. At 1st I thought it was bad synchros but know I am not sure because it doesn't grind just kicks out it there is no pressure applied on the shifter when shifting into 3rd.....Oh, and it's only 3rd gear that is giving me this issue no other gear has this problem. Any help from you guys would be appreciated, I thought maybe bad shift fork but I need some other advice, thanks.

That's 9 outta 10 times the problem. I'm planning a rebuild of mine for the same thing.
