Default clutch fluid, which brand?? mine is evaporating

I have a 2001 z28 m6.

Lately the weather around here has been in the 90s with a heat index of 104.
Well during these hot days, the hydraulic fluid for my clutch has become low.

I know I dont have any leaks, so I figure between the hot weather and my aggressive driveing has caused the hydraulic fluid to burn up/evaporate, by reaching temp higher then the fluid can handle!

First off, is what I mentioned possible?

Also I'm using synthetic brake fluid for my clutch fluid but is there something better? something more high temp? something good for aggresive driving

thanks!

I use regular DOT brake fluid. Never even heard of it being possible for the hydrolic fluid to evaporate. I think you got a leak somewhere.

the hydraulic brake fluid either

Vavlonline SynPower High Performance Synthetic Brake Fluid is recommended for ABS, hydraulic drum and disc braking systems and hydraulic clutches requiring DOT 3 and DOT 4 fluids. Its premium, synthetic, low-moisture formulation provides superior anti-vapor lock protection. It has a high dry-boiling point up to 500°F that reduces the risk of fluid vaporization and possible brake failure.

The vaporization can cause an evaporating effect and in turn causes a loss of fluid!

or here is good reading about wilwoods hi-temp brake fluid:

again I know for certain that I dont have a leak. I never heard of the fluid being able to evaporate until researching it today.

I check the slave/master for leaks, all is good!

which is why I was lead to ask what hi-temp fluid everyone uses!

I've been using Valvoline Synth but I'm about to flush it after half a season of dragging on a new clutch - it's dirty dirty dirty already, but I'm wondering if part of that has been from eating at the rubber insert that goes into the resevoir...

you are absolutely right, much of the blackness in your fluid is from the black insert.

becarefull not to spill the fluid on any part of your car that has paint. It will eat it right off.

Also yes your fluid will turn to a dark color or shade from heating up so much.

I use valvoline syn also but 'm flushing my system and switching to the wilwood hi temp fluid. I'm also doing that for my brakes too.

Even if it did evaporate it would STILL have to go somewhere. Remember that all things are solid liquid or gas, so if it goes from liquid to gas and you say you don't have a leak, but it's low then logically speaking if your system was sealed, then when it cooled and condensed into liquid it would stay at the same level. You have a leak somewhere. The hydraulic system of our clutches is sealed. Fluid has to go somewhere. Just because you can't visually locate a leak, doesn't mean a leak doesn't exist.
