Holy crap, am I seeing that right? I don't think I've ever seen hot spots the whole way through a flywheel to the backside before. You must've had her pretty hot, lol. I'm sure you could get it resurfaced but with that kind of tempering going on I don't know how well it would last, if it was me I'd get a new one.

I believe the rule of thumb is .030" before you have to start worrying about shims and after that I'd worry about warping the thing. Best to just replace it and not worry about having to pull the transmission in the near future.

no,the hotspots didnt go thru.im thinking i might just buy a new setup instead of using this used setup.
