Default Engine need support after trans removal?

I pulled my trans today for a clutch swap. I have to wait a couple of days with the trans out. Does the engine need to be supported at the oil pan with trans out? Thanks

I would be sure to have a support under the pan/ bottom. I have seen a dropped/lowered engine take out components by battering against a firewall.

I don't think it is really necessary but it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to support it and keep some stress off of things.

Probably not necessary but it certainly wouldn't hurt. I'd do it to be safe.
