Unhappy New Clutch, 250 Miles, Shifted, POP, Petal on Floor...

Just installed a new clutch and '02 hydraulics ~250 miles ago. Been taking it easy on it. Wasn't shifting under load, just an easy going 2-3. Heard a pop and the clutch stayed on the floor.

What all could be wrong? Could it be serious or nothing big?

Man I'm bummed out.

Search found a post that actually describes the pop: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...ht=petal+floor

So, might be the return spring, a retainer clip, or I broke the brand new master?

Here's another that says it needs to be bled more, but mine isn't "sticking" to the floor, it's dead, loose. It will never come back up.

is it attached to the master at the pedal?

Or is it leaking fluid, blow out a slave cylinder?

I had the clutch installed. I drove it back to there and dropped it off. I figure they need to fix it, you know.

But, they didn't have time to look at it or tell me what they thought.

If I would have known of this problem, I would have checked.

Line burst. Bleh. No big deal I guess. Wish I would have had them do the drill mod.
