Default skip shift solenoid

Hey guys,
I started throwing a SES light a few weeks ago, got it scanned, and it is throwing two codes...one that says "Skip Shift" and the other says "Skip shift solenoid". I have had the CAGS eliminator for about two years, and was wondering if there is anything I can do to kill this SES light...apparently the solenoid (or sensor) is bad....but I don't use it...I just hate the SES light blaring at me....I'd hate to replace the solenoid, since I don't use skip-shift at all, but how else can I elminate this problem? Thanks in advance!

also you might want to check the engine ses fuse its a 20 amp under the hood, mine threw that code as well as a maf code after I throw in the new clutch. replaced fuse and they were gone. I was really puzzled because my cags is tuned out.

You can go to radio shack and get a 2.2Kohm resistor and put it in the skip shift connector to fool the computer.
