Default Resurface the flywheel or not....

I bought a slightly used LS6 clutch. There is of course some wear on the disk and it's been suggested that if I resurface the flywheel it may not fit as tight since there are some "grooves" in the disk since it's worn somewhat. So now I'm wondering if I should resurface or not??

dont do it.. just lightly sand it with emery cloth to get rid of hot spots and give it a fresh surface.. the grooves have been worn in by the disk and if its now mating a not flat to flat surface you will get major hot spots on the flywheel where the high spots on the disk are at...
