Question Clutch ?

If I have to let the pedal out further (than I used to) so the gears will engage, does that mean that my clutch is slipping? Is there an adjustment for that, or am I S.O.L. ??

Thanks

A slipping clutch will show itself as a rise in RPM under load (with your foot on the gas) without an increase in speed. The factory hydraulic system and pressure plate are self adjusting. As the PP, flywheel and clutch disc wear the pedal should remain in approximately the same place until the components have worn beyond the adjustment limit of the pressure plate.

Take it out and give it full throttle at low RPM and low speed in 5th and 6th gear. See if the RPMs jump... if so it's time for a new clutch, if not don't worry about it unless it's a pronounced jump, or you're having problems feathering the clutch to engage it.
