how hard to replace clutch master cylinder?
like the title says, i don't want to take it to a shop to get it fixed for like 250 bucks...i want to spend the 60 bucks at Advanced Auto, get the master cylinder and put it in myself...i've done everything on my car so far, suspension wise, and anything else. take emaculate care of my car...and i know my way around...and have done two cam swaps on LS1 cars. so i think i have the skills...just kinda weary about the transmission.
my car is a V6 3.4 M5...my buddy Mike (WS6FirebirdTA00) says we can do it...but i'm just making sure i won't find any surprises along the way.
and what all do i need to complete it...just the master cylinder? do i need any fluid?
thanks for the help.

IMO its a major pain. that stupid " U " bolt will take longer than anything. like lighemupls1 said, you NEED two people and you really do need to actually be in the engine bay. the process its self isnt hard, its the U bolt that takes forever. your going to have to bleed the hell out of the system too. good luck.

I installed it myself also and was a pain in the ***, a second person would have really helped. If you get any of the fluid on your paint make sure to clean it, you might get a bit when you unplug the master reservoir, you may not have to unplug it though.
