Is what comes in a 93' 1500 Silverado 5spd. a t-5?

Is it the 3500? Or is it the 4500? I though the 3500 was in the S-series', and the 4500 in the C/Ks.

I said 3500 because that what is in our 6 cyl c truck but it is a 2003.I think it also matters what engine is used.

v8 man = NV 3550 after 95 IIRC

maybe, but they dont handle power very well

The shifter would come up through the dash and the ratios are too high.

The 3500s tend to let go around 300whp as the S-series guys have found, and the 4500 has an insanely short 1st gear (~5:1).

actually his year (if it was an nv4500) would have a 6.34:1.
