Default So.....Which clutches are working the best?

I need a clutch and I want to know which clutches are holding up to 5000 rpm dumps and n2o. Cartek, Mcleod, Star? If possible I would like to reuse my flywheel and just get it resurfaced.
thanx

Both the Mcleod Rev-Lok and the Cartek setups use the stock flywheel. You know my Cartek works if I'm cutting 1.4X 60' times in a fat hog car.

the spec clutches all use the stock flywheel and you dont have to buy the $200 adjustable master either.. mine is working real good... stock resurfaced flywheel..

Well I'll tell you this...I HAD the REVLOK II in my car for about 3 or 4 weeks and I broke a friction plate on the damn thing Fri. It completely removed itself from the disk. I hope it was a defect, I'm in the process of sending it back now. It worked really well until it broke..4 to 5 grand dumps no prob!

My RAM clutch is using the stock flywheel, resurfaced. Good pricing on RAM.

In three words...Mcleod,Mcleod,Mcleod!!!!! It has to be the smooooothest upgrade available (not the Rev-Lok). BTW, spend the extra $$$$ and get the new billet flywheel, which comes with the Mcleod. Also get the kevlar upgrade for excellent performance.
Pay for PROVEN quality and no more worries.
Later.
BTW, do you read any threads with Mcleod problems?
Just my 2 cents.
Raging Motorsports (forum sponsor) has a great price for the complete set-up.

I think most of the clutches have all their bugs worked out of them. You just need to have the hydraulics setup properly.

I have the Ram setup BTW.

What trouble? This frickin clutch is awesome! It does have alot to do with the install and bleeding process though. Mark at Raging MS has done quite a few of these and brings a ton of expertise.

I have the Ram 401/6130 W/stock resurfaced flywheel. I also added the McLeod MC as well. So far I love it!!!! Holds great and grips excellent......

My total cost was right at $500.....how much was your McLeod Randy??????? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

The McLeod is a good clutch, but in my book a bit overpriced. The Ram holds up to Harlan, so it should be O'tay for my car.
