Default LS7 vs LS1 Clutches

I suck at clutches? How do you tell the difference between the two?

I just received my clutch kit from Fred Beans and was wondering the same thing. What put my mind at rest was a picture of the PP on the Speed Inc. web site now also selling the kit. It looked exactly like what I have. My only problem now oddly enough, is finding a clutch alignment tool.

Just a note I have a 98 SS and the through out bearing is starting to make noise and from what I'm hearing I’ll be replacing the master with a newer version with the infamous drill mod as well.

Have Fun!

Check the Install University web site at http://www.installuniversity.com/ins...sity/index.htm and look under Transmission. There is an isnstruction for the McLeod Adjustable Master Cylinder and "Drill Mod" Install that pretty much answers you question.
