Default Rebuilding tranny and have a question.

I replaced my 3-4 syncro and when pressing on the new syncro it seems like there is to much play between the collar on the shaft and the 3rd gear. Does anyone know how much clearence should be between the two?
Also The billet keys that come with package 1a from t56 rebuilds (6 in all) what syncros do they go to. I have three of them on the 3-4, should the other ones be on the 1-2 (my guess), or 5-6?
Thanks

5/6 Is the only other one you can put them in. The 1/2 Keys are longer and different. The 3/4 Slider should be pressed on just enought for the snap ring to go on. It should not go on any further.

Thanks,

Well you could also put them in reverse but I would not know why you would want to.
