stock tranny with spec 4 question How much HP can this handle. I'm looking to go built motor. I want to see 550 to 600 to the wheels with spray. Can my stock tranny handle this. I will have built motor and built 9" but just wanted opinions on how the tranny will hold. Thanks...

It will handle about 1200hp at the crank. you will be fine. I would look at getting new upgraded synchros and blockers along with steel shift forks though. That is mainly the things that are going to become a problem child with a T56 over time or under abuse.
