Default Friend wants to use a T56 with a 500+ci BBC... I have ?s

Pretty simple question...

The BBC, most likely a built 502 or bigger in a Chevelle, will be throwing down a LOT of TQ. I tried to talk him into a T56 but at the time I wasnt clear on how much power he was going to make. Now that I know its going to be a lot I thought I would ask here.

What kind of goodies will he need inside to work with that kind of power?

Theres another friend of mine selling a T56, fresh with a couple thousand miles from rebuild. Heres his post...

Semi-Fresh T-56 trans with billet keys, steel shift fork, upgraded synchros, the usual. Stock input/output shaft. Ram Powergrip clutch, steel flywheel, pro 5.0, short shifter.
Would this be worth it for my friends Chevelle with the built 502? Would anything need to be added to this tranny to make it take the abuse from the torquey BB?

Thanks in advance.

Probably going to need a different bellhousing for sure. I don't know if you would want to try and make that T-56 work, allthough it seems like the one you listed is built for a more severe load. People take the stock T-56's up to 900+ RWHP.
