is the cartek clutch worthy of holding 450-550 to the ground?

yes its very worthy, ran my frist one for all most 40,xxx miles with no probs had ot have tranny gone threw so i got a new one ot go wiht new tranny, and still no problems

how much power are you putting down to the ground?

i put down 430hp at the wheels on motor, and on 75 shot right at 500hp, and with a 150 on the street it holds

I am have been running the cartek for the last 18k miles with about 50-60 passes at the track. i am putting down about 470 rwhp and 470 rwtq. so far so good. much better then the spec 3+ (got about 5k mile and 3 passes at the track before it was gone)

Dude my car has the Spec 3+ clutch and it has been a good clutch. It has about 9000-10000 street miles(a lot of stop and go traffic), and about 200 track passes, and has been in i don't know how many street races. Not to mention how many times this clutch has been slipped hard back when I had the 10-bolt. My horsepower is close to 550RWHP.
