Default Clutch events starting to add up...

About 3 weeks ago, the clutch just got soft out of nowhere. The pedal had a much lighter feel and it was easier to slip it with my stock gears and huge cam, but it didn't feel like it was slipping at all. Fast forward to last week, it started *barely* notching a bit as it went into gear. I wouldn't call it a grind, as it would be just a small blip, but this was happening off and on. I took it on a 3 hour trip to VA beach for a dyno day, made some runs, abused it a bit on the street, and drove it back home 3 hours. I get home and get out of the car and it smells like burning clutch. What is going on with this thing? It's a mcleod single disk, with adjustable mc, and basically new slave cylinder put in about 1000 miles ago. The clutch and MC have about 3-4k miles on them and the whole system was bled very well 1000 miles ago when the new slave was put in. Any ideas?
