I have about 200 miles on one of your rebuilds. I got the 1A package, plus I sprung for 5-6 bronze fork pads. Next summer, after the 12-bolt is in and the tranny break-in period is over, I'm going to give 'er a good work-out at the track!
I mentioned a few of your competitors to my speed shop guru, but he insisted on T56rebuilds.com. I can't wait until she's broken in....this stop and go driving is getting old.

The info t56rebuilds.com sent me said, "Normal driving for 500 miles is required for break-in. Please make this as much stop and go as possible".
I don't know if their different packages require different break-in mileage, or driving styles, but that's what I have to do for the 1A rebuild package I had done.

As far as break in, that's what I was told by the service woman over the phone. I went w/ the 4B package. Also I might add, that they OK Royal Purple SychroMax. It does not need to be changed after break in, and should be changed regularly every 10k miles.
I'm out in Alamogordo NM. Just installed my T56R. Will have the core back to you shortly. Was buisy today and forgot to call. I have clutch disengaugment issues, but other than that, everything works fine. She's a bit stiff for now, untill I get the clutch cituation straightened out.

I had 4 quarts of Amsoil Synthetic Manual tranny fluid (AF3) I was going to use to change my fluid before the slider key broke. Because I didn't want to mess with the t56rebuilds.com warranty stuff, all 4 bottles are still sittin' there. I went with the Royal Purple Synchromax, seeing as I'm going to be using Royal Purple engine oil after the rings seat.
I've heard good things about Amsoil products, but Amsoil wasn't on the list, so I didn't use it. I wonder if it would have worked okay?

Just call us when you are ready to send the core back. Normal stiffness should go away with breakin and should get better with the clutch fixed. Let us know if we can help and yes the break in procedures listed above is what we recommend.
Thanks Guys.
