Grease in my clutch fluid resevior!!!!

Default Grease in my clutch fluid resevior!!!!

Ive been having trouble putting my car into gear lately and i went to check the fluid and it is black, like old engine oil, and there are chunks of black grease floating in it. This cant be good. What should I do??

That's mud. Brake fluid turns to a mud after awhile if you don't replace it ever so often, due to getting moisture in it.

Are you sure because it looks pretty black and just noticed it after having problems with my tranny. I hope thats all it is! How do you go about bleeding it. DO you have to bleed the whole brake system?

First, its not the brake system so thats not a problem. If its black and there are chunks in the clutch reservoir, you have waited far too long to address this. Flush & bleed the system and hope that there are no long lasting seal problems.

About once a month I take a big syringe and suck the reservoir dry and fill it with fresh stuff. Then you don't have to worry about bleeding the system.

If it's like grease you'll have to replace the hydraulics. I had this happen in my Sonoma. I couldn't figure out where it came from and the trans shop said it was nearly impossible to flush it and make sure you got it all out. It was easier just to replace the master/slave.
