Default Spec stg3 owners inside

Forgive me if the other threads have the solution but I just installed the spec stage 3 clutch in my 2000 SS and i dont know if its not engaging all the way or what but it will not go into a gear at a high rpm. Slave cylinder need to be upgraded? Any solutions?

Have you performed the drill mod on the line running from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder?

You need to bleed it some more

if u have bled it all the way and it still wont disengage u will need a adjustable master

I had the Spec III and had the same problem. Your best bet is to just change out the slave. That'll fix it!

Thats what I will probably do. how hard is that? Is there any step by step instructions? ls6 slave cyclinder work?

#1 Did you use the supplied shim?

#2 How many times did you bleed? And what method did you use?

Everyone complains about bleeding the hydraulics in our cars. I bled my system by hand (no mityvac/ air powered bleeding) and it was mint from the get go.

1 Snap on adjustable head/locking 1/4" ratchet
1 Snap on 7/16 1/4" socket.

Guy up top working the pedal, open close bleeder.

I don't know what the big problem is...
