Went to the track yesterday on my first launch car hooked good finally and bang. This has happen before to me so im thinking rear end like last time. But on the trailer i put it in gear and gear seem like it goes into gear, The drive shaft isn't turning. I haven't dug into it yet car season is over here and it's raining out so my desire is 0. But the my question is has this happen to anybody before and have they found out that it was there trans? Any incite appreciated

Could be the cluster. Same thing happened to us last night. Broke 6 teeth off the cluster shaft shifting at 7600

I may be calling you soon. I have to do some diagnosing I had the e-brake on while at the track so that may be why the shaft wasn't turning but who knows It's Drag racing and **** breaks. It's Raining like 3"s outside right now I have no desire to move the car into the shop. And the track closes up here tomorrow.

so it goes into gear , clutch engages but direshaft not spinning? sounds like an input shaft most likely, seen a few cars have it happen to them

I really dont know what it does yet I'll look at it the end of this week and see. If it is the trans im going to get a bad *** one. So I can drive it the way I want to at the track.
