Default Can a corvette tranny be fitted on a camaro?

Is it possible to put a ZF 6 speed in a 4th gen camaro? Is there a bellhousing that will fit?

No he's talking about the tranny from the older vettes that were 6-speed before they went to the T56. i heard it is a big PITA! to swap it over. plus it wouldnt be worth it considering the price of parts if you ever have anything go wrong with it. mainly because the transmission was built in germany.

not to many people have done it and i beleive you would be better off with sticking to a T56.

if i recall there were 2 3rd gen RS camaros that were fitted with the ZF tranny. and they were consider the Camaro ZF. i think one has gotten crushed and there is 1 left. if you do a search on thirdgen.org you can find some info on the ZF tranny.

Thanks for the info. I was just wondering because I live in Germany.
