Default master/slave question

ok so friday i went to the drag strip. its been about 2000 miles since my new ls7 clutch install and new hydraulics. i do a burnout, stage, and launch. when shifting gears once the clutch was engaged and i was in the next gear it bogged... then once it went above 5000rpm it pulled hard. this happen in the 2-3 shift as well.

i found my hydraulic line to be laying on my headers....

what would happen if it is laying on my headers? also would this cause the tranny to stick in gear like not properly disengage the clutch.

It would likely boil the fluid and foul up your hydraulics. I'd check to make sure it didn't melt the line materials, provide some heat shielding and tuck it out of the way.
