drill mod intimidation...help
i def need the drill mod...I was going to do it during my head and cam install....however i read up on the article, it seems complicated as ****...
is that just me or is it hard???
Also, the article contains the directions on how to change to an adj. master cylinder....is that really neccesary and can I still perform the drill mod without changin the MC? thanks
any advice would be great....thanks

It's not that hard. The only hard part is getting the master back in--which is a pain but do-able. I pulled mine to make it adjustable at the same time. Not sure if you could get the pin out that retains the hose without removing the master--never tried it. Basically, you drive a pin out, drill the end of the hose (search for the instructions on how to do it right), rinse the hose, re-assemble and bleed.

Drill Mod
thats the link I used
just go to Install Documents then go all the way to the bottom of the page and look for drill mod
It's really not to bad to do just getting to the MC is the pain and I'm 100% sure that you'll have to take out the MC

^^ that's the advice/link I used also. But they say to use a 1/8" drill bit. I felt it was a little too big, so I used a 7/64 drill bit.
I ,also, don't think you will be able to get the braided line off w/o taking the master out. You might have a bit more luck w/ the heads off...
