I have trouble with my 4th gear sometimes.. Help? Sometimes, my car likes to grind into 4th gear.. or it will pop out with a moderate load. Has anyone else experienced this? Is my 4th gear synchro bad? I did some reading and some people were saying its the synchro.. how much is this to fix/replace? Can I do it myself? Any help.. any questions for me.. let me know. Thanks in advance!

Be careful man and don't ride that 4th to hard. This means no playing around or street racing. I had the same problem with 4th and sure enough after enough racing around 15,000 miles later it wont even stay in which means I shift 3rd to 5th all day long. But I believe it can be a number of things besides the synchro. If you go to t56rebuilds.com they have a manual on the t56 with problems and causes according to shifting symptoms.
