Default Cruise problem

I have a problem with my cruise control engaging. If I hold my foot under the clutch pedal and turn the cruise on it works, until i let my foot down. Its like the clutch pedal is not going up high enough. Im sure its b/c my master cylinder or something like that not applying enough pressure but is there a way to fix this? Maybe I can bypass a switch to the cruise to make it think the clutch is all the way up?

I think you can just go in and disconect the wring going to the clutch switch and turn it to adjust it. Then reconect the wire.
