Please HELP!!! (Hydraulics are driving me nuts)
I replaced my slave and I can't for the life of me get any clutch pedal. I have tried manually bleeding the system for like 20 minutes and its not like it is just soft, there is no clutch pedal whatsoever. Has anyone ever had this problem at all? I need help because this is my daily driver and all I have to do is get that clutch pedal going. What problems could their be since I just put a new slave in? I swear I have run enough fluid through to flush it twice! Can the part that the clutch pedal pushes into go bad? Is there a seal or a piston in that clutch pedal assembly! OMG I am so pissed off because I have no clue! Please help me...

What was the initial reason for replacing your slave cyl? A leak? Bench bleeding hydraulic compounents is essential for proper operation; (given that is your problem) Perhaps your clutch master cylinder is bad?

The intial problem was that my clutch was getting spongey and then all of a sudden...bam no clutch at all. I looked underneath the car and clutch fluid was seeping from the bellhousing vent and nothing was in the resorvoir so I suspected a blown slave.

Sounds like it. The added stress on the master cylinder for the clutch system couldnt take it and it sounds like it might be your new problem. Might very well just be a bleeding issue also. good luck

I've got my master cylinder on the way and it will be here tomorrow morning. Anyone know of any good writeups on the install? Oh and its looks like I will have to move the brake booster to get to it. Is this true?
