my factory hurst vibrated a lot and was really sloppy. the 5.0 stays put and is more comfortable to keep your hand on.
at first it was smooth as butter, but its getting progressivly notchy... dont know if the pro 5.0 is causing that or if i'm just due for a clutch bleed.

I had the fatory hurst and I always had to kinda do the actual shift pattern from 2-3 motion (move up, move right, move up). With the 5.0 its a simple, fast up motion and puts it in 3 pretty much for you. This has been my experience with it.

i don't know i've never driven with a 5.0 so i wouldn't know but i kind of like the hurst i think it is fairly solid when shifting, i do agree that it is quite notchy on fast/high rpm shifts but i never really have problems with 2-3. i always thought the notchyness was from the tranny.

Well we all get to have an opinion for free. I have driven both and prefer the Hurst on a daily driver. It is what I now have on my car. The 5.0 has an excessive load to pull from neutral to the 1/2 gate this becomes a pain in city driving. For a track car, I would say the 5.0 shines.

2nd - 3rd is beautiful with the pro 5.0.
