Default Bleeding problems

I just replaced my clutch because it was wore out/slipping and changed the slave cylinder at the same time just to be safe. A friend and I have spent at least an hour and a half bleeding this after we got it all together and nothing. You push in the pedal and it stays there. I did some searching and saw that some people had a problem with their master cylinders, but I have a mcloud and it was working this morning, disengaged fine and all, the clutch would just slip under a load and it was pretty wore out. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks

All I can think of is maybe you're bleeding it wrong. Pump, pump, pump pedal, hold pedal to floor, crack bleeder till fluid comes out, close bleeder, release pedal, check fluid reservoir, repeat as needed.

I'm bleeding it just like that and nothing. Is there supposed to be some pressure when you break the bleeder loose or is the fluid just supposed to just kinda leak/dribble out?

there should be pressure, but it will take a while to build if you changed slaves out. It took me about 5 mins of pumping, bleeding, and filling up before i had pressure.

I just crack the bleeder until I feel fluid running down the ratchet, I don't think its supposed to spray out or anything. I just did my clutch last weekend with a brand new slave and I only had to bleed it 3 or 4 times before it was good.

It should shoot out, all the pressure built up from the pumping of the clutch should shoot the fuid out. If it just dribbles, then you don't have proper pressure.

Man, all you guys only having to bleed it 3 or 4 times are lucky. I found the mityvac method and bled it in about 15-20 minutes. Screw bleeding it manually.
