new flywheel...old clutch
Well due to some damage to the flywheel teeth, it is going to have to be replaced. Here is the question. I have never replaced a flywheel and left an "old" clutch in the car. Is this going to be a problem or will I have to replace the clutch also? The clutch disk and pressure plate have about 1000 miles on them so they are still very new. I would assume I will have to break it in as if the entire assembly is new but I am wondring if the clutch will be able to wear into the new flywheel properly and not slip. This is a Spec 3, btw. Thanks!
