Default 3rd gear

i just started having trouble with my 3rd gear the other day and i have no idea what is wrong with it. if i gently shift it it shifts smooth but if i put any force behind the shift into third it will make a buzzing noise. if the car is not moving it will not make this noise. i dont think it is the syncro but could somebody please help me?

i took it to the trany shop and the guy said that he doest think that its the syncro but what ever it is is eating the syncro every time it grinds. he also said that the clutch pedal felt kinda funny. is any of this common for the t56?
